Tom's 41st Birthday!

We all slept in this morning until almost 11 a.m.!

The boys are happy. This is the first hotel that they have been able to use their Game Cube at!

We started our Gettysburg experience at the Visitor Center. We walked through the museum there. Tom and I both liked the wooden furniture that had bullet holes in it! We purchased a self-guided audio tour CD there, and followed the two-hour route.

We took a break from the tour to visit the Boyds Bear Country store before it closed at 6 p.m.

We had a good! dinner at the Gingerbread House in Gettysburg, including gingerbread with lemon sauce, for dessert. (I had a homemade strawberry shortcake!)

After dinner, we took a few minutes to visit the last stop on the audio tour, before leaving for Williamsburg.

The next two nights we will be staying at a Holiday Inn Express.
